"I have always believed that the most powerful photographs are the ones that make you stop. Not because they show you something you've never seen — but because they show you something you've always felt, and never had words for.
My work lives in two worlds. The vast, silent spaces of the natural world, and the intimate human moments that happen in between — a mother's laugh, a couple caught in rain, a baby discovering the world with wide open eyes.

I picked up a camera over a decade ago and never put it down. What started as a love of landscapes — chasing light across Death Valley, the Bolivian Altiplano, and the American Southwest — grew into something more personal: a belief that photography is really about people. The landscapes they love. The families they're building. The moments they don't want to forget.
I photograph portraits, maternity sessions, and families across the Washington DC metro area. My approach is unhurried and natural — I'm not looking for poses, I'm looking for the real thing. The laugh that catches you off guard. The quiet look between two people. The way a child reaches for something just out of frame.
